Chemical Peels for RejuvenationAs we age our cell turn-over and exfoliation slows resulting in layers of dead skin cells causing fine lines, wrinkles and a congested ‘dull’ appearance. A chemical peel is a specific technique to rapidly remove the damaged upper layers of surface skin cells revealing fresh, plump skin and stimulating cell rebuilding and restructuring of the deeper skin layers. · Brighten dull ‘congested’ skin These peels are only available from trained healthcare professionals, doctors and nurses. Due to their prescription strength ingredients they should not be used by beauty therapists/aestheticians. |

Peels for pigmentationAbnormal pigmentation (hyper pigmentation), especially on the face can be disfiguring and can affect a person’s confidence at work or in social situations. It can occur on any skin type but often those with darker skins types are particularly prone to it. Pigmentation can be caused by sun damage, hormones (eg during pregnancy) and as a result of wounds or inflammation to the skin and can be permanent unless treated. In the area of cosmetic medicine there are some very effective treatments that can return the skin to its natural complexion. It is important though that after such treatment you follow a strict skincare regime and sun protection is essential to avoid the problem returning. For minor hyper pigmentation, there are some home use crèmes/serums that can be recommended that can give good results. For more severe and widespread hyper pigmentation, I offer two types of peels that are very effective, these are; Amelan de-pigmentation treatment and Innovation Concept Peel (ICP).
